Product Description

Each table of B6 PhosphateTM from Biotics Research supplies 20 mg of vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5- phosphate (P-5- P) along with Superoxide Dismutase and Catalase two very important antioxidant enzymes. P-5- P is the active form of vitamin B6 and functions as a coenzyme. As such P-5- P dependent enzymes catalyze a vast amount of biochemical reactions with over 140 P-5- P dependent activities having been cataloged.

•ENERGY PRODUCTION AND METABOLISM: P-5-P is widely utilized in central metabolism especially in amino acid biosynthesis and energy production. It functions as a coenzyme in the release of glucose from stored glycogen turning it into energy.
•HELPS MAINTAIN LEVELS OF HAPPY BRAIN CHEMICALS: Stored in the liver muscles and brain vitamin B6 acts as a cofactor and is involved in more than 100 reactions including neurotransmitter synthesis.
